Human Hair Wig and Synthetic Wigs: What's the Difference?


You might have guessed it just from the names, but human hair wigs are made from real human hair while synthetic wigs are made from synthetic fibers. 


Since they are made from real hair, human hair wigs naturally look and feel...well, more natural! With proper care, human hair wigs also last much longer than their synthetic counterparts--up to three years.


Meanwhile, synthetic wigs bring a few advantages of their own.  For one, they require far less maintenance; and they can typically be worn right out of the box since they don't need to be styled, even after a wash.


While not having the same natural look and feel as human hair, synthetic wigs are the less-complicated, quicker option for those perhaps on a tighter schedule or a tighter budget. 


Still, while they're more of an investment, human hair wigs last much longer and the quality is far superior. 


So the better option ultimately depends on your own personal needs and preferences.
